Research Cultivar Sample Tasting | Tuesday, April 26
Please join me for a controlled blind tasting of research samples (data!) made from the UMD’s research vineyard plots around the state. Taste new (and new-to-you) varieties (Tempranillo, Montepulciano, and other surprises) in various styles and hear where these vines are suited throughout the state. This research and education program is supported via a Maryland Governor’s Commission on Wine and Grapes Grant. Coffee and lunch are included. There are already 40+ registered, so please register soon as we need to know the wine volume needed.
