Subject: seeking vineyards for Conservation innovation on-farm trials
We are seeking producers for on-farm trials of autonomous precision AG applications. We have one local vineyard interested so far and are reaching out to others.
Find USDA/NRCS grant attached.
Here is our robotic mower website – turfrobots.us <http://turfrobots.us>
This is our new reel mower platform <http://108.56.255.13:5678/media/safe.mp4>
Our weed control machine vision – weed.turfrobots.us <http://weed.turfrobots.us> This can be train to identify your invasive grass and precision application to only that leaf surface.
We can also automate aeration, plant health monitoring and other tasks.
Ie. machine vision detection of spotted lanternfly and other pests(molds, fruit rot) for precision pesticide application.
Here is our pneumatic soil moisture probe inserter.
We use a EC corrected TDR soil moisture probe and can map your fields soil moisture at high resolution. This allows you the ability to regulate precision water stress for enhancing flavinoid and polyphenol production.
This application is due September 22. To receive USDA trial incentive payments, you need to be EQIP certified <https://www.nrcs.usda.gov/wps/portal/nrcs/main/national/programs/financial/eqip/> or submit the paper work prior to receiving funds and have an AGI under $900K.
USDA NRSC is looking to fund technologies and practices in these priority areas:
- Irrigation Water Management Technologies
- Climate Smart Agricultural Solutions
- Nutrient Management
- Soil Health Demonstration Trial (SHD)
These incentive payments do not subtract from other farm bill incentive payment limits.
There are other precision agriculture application not conservation orientated. One that comes to mind is selective pruneing of leaves to expose fruit cluster to more sunlight and get more sugars and energy into the fruit rather than vegetation.
